dr Marcin Orecki, advocate (fully qualified lawyer), that specializes in issues concerning international and national business contracts, infrastructure projects, litigation and arbitration: international, domestic, commercial and investment. His practice is also focused on advising on contracts including dispute and claim management (identify, assess and resolve).
Before Marcin started his work as an independent lawyer and consultant he gained experience in the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland, Ombudsman’s Office in Poland, Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, State Treasury Solicitors` Office (currently: General Counsel to the Republic of Poland), Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. Between 2013 and 2016 Marcin was a member of litigation and dispute resolution team of Clifford Chance (office in Warsaw). Next Marcin worked as an in-house lawyer in the joint venture - AGP Metro Polska s.c. established by Astaldi S.p.A. and Gülermak Ağır Sanayi İnşaat ve Taahhüt A.Ş. for the purposes of execution of II metro line in Warsaw.
Marcin graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He is an alumnus of the LL.M (MIDS) in International Dispute Settlement organized by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEAD) and University of Geneva.
He is an author of publications about civil procedure, international and European civil procedure, private international law, arbitration, as well as civil and construction law.
